Google says plainly that no one can guarantee a #1 ranking. Guarantees usually mean obscure keywords nobody searches, or tactics that can get you penalized.
For local businesses, the biggest lever is often a complete Google Business Profile and steady, real reviews.
Check this yourself
- Search your main service plus your city in a private browser window.
- Look at the map results. Is your business there, with photos, hours and recent reviews?
- Ask your SEO provider which keywords they report on, and how many people search them each month.

- Finish the Google Business Profile first.
- Build a simple habit of asking every happy customer for a review.
- Pay for SEO tied to leads, not a list of rankings.
